In the spring of 2010 two friends and collegues in sculpture, Lukas Arons and Tom Flick, were able to purchase an old stone industry in the forrests of Bohuslän at the Swedish westcoast.

StoneZone became a reallity.

In the late 1940's Oskar Olsson and Karl Davidsson started this stone cutting company in the outskirts of the village of Hällevadsholm, 130 km north of Göteborg. During the first active decades different companies used this stone industry for the production of granite products mostly for building and construction purposes. But in the thirtytwo years before 2010 the place was abandoned and mostly forgotten.

The dream

Our dream is still under construction ..........

(Down here you can see an animation on how in the past at StoneZone blocks were cut into slabs.)
